Upstairs Boutique is a cozy 14-room hotel, which is a family business, located in an old building of the first Bucharest Cinema. The location is ultra-central, a few steps from the main tourist attractions in Bucharest such as the Old Town, the Bucharest National Theater, the Cismigiu Garden, the Romanian Parliament, etc.

All rooms are located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the building, so please note that you have to climb the metal stairs in the inner courtyard and the wooden spiral stairs inside the building. NO LIFT! You can see all the stairs in the pictures. All rooms have windows to the inner courtyard, so it is very quiet, even if we are in the city center. The hotel has been recently renovated, each room has its own bathroom, fully equipped with towels, slippers, air conditioning, etc.

We have a large living room for breakfast, where you can relax, meet friends, have a free cup of tea or coffee all day long. Free Wi-Fi everywhere. At the reception you can use the printer for free, you can buy a tour for the most important destinations in Romania.

     ·  The lady in the breakfast was adorable, and very polite. The lounge in the attic is a very cozy and calm place, i loved it.

     ·  Location was excellent. The room itself was good. The bathroom was compact but still usable. The breakfast was adequate.
     ·  Cleanliness was ok although there were lots of stains on the carpet and in the bathroom there was dirt on the door frame and the shower head. Even though it was cold weather, there were flies in the breakfast room around the open food.

     ·  I really liked the manner of the staff. They were quite helpful and positive. I liked the cleanliness and everything was safe in the hotel.
     ·  I think there could've been more cheese options for the breakfast. And my shampoo was too little in the bathroom. Had to use handwasher gel while taking a shower.
